Find one of our flags in your yard?

If you have found one of our flags near the boundary of your yard it is because we have recently completed a survey near your home. We recovered some lot corners near your residence to use as control for the survey we are currently producing. So what does this mean for you? There could be several responses to that question. Quite possibly it could mean absolutely nothing to you. You may have no questions regarding your property boundary lines. However, if you are considering doing some improvements requiring permitting, it may be a good idea to request a survey of your property to be prepared in advance of the permitting process.

Perhaps you were considering a new fence. It has been our experience that it is more cost effective to have a survey completed before erecting the fence than to have the survey completed after erecting the fence only to find the fence was not placed within the correct property boundaries.

Maybe you fall into the grouping of folks just generally curious as to the true location of your property lines.

Another possibility could be that you are interested in refinancing or selling your home. A survey will most likely be required by the lender and Title Company to complete the transaction.

These scenarios require a survey to be produced by a reputable, professionally licensed land surveyor. That is where we come in. Our firm has recently been working in the area recovering the necessary control to produce your neighbor’s survey. Having that control information allows us to perform surveys in a shorter period of time reducing our cost which allows us to pass that savings on to you.
